Applications for admission to NHA are available on our website by following this LINK. There is a $160.00 non-refundable, non-transferrable fee assessed with each application.  Upon submission, our Admissions Department will contact you to schedule Academic and Hockey Screenings for your child(ren).

Within 24-48 hours you should receive a call or an email to set up your admissions screenings.

Typically 1-2 weeks following your completed screenings you will receive an offer of enrollment or an email declining the position.  If offered enrollment, you will then submit all enrollment information into the FACTS portal and your student’s seat is then reserved. 

Annual Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is $29,750 for standard players and $14,875 for goalies. Tuition includes Curriculum, class instruction materials, student technology device (1:1 device for students), Daily ice training (tactical, technical & team training), daily Strength and Conditioning training.

 * Annual Tuition does NOT include school uniforms or tournament travel expenses.  There may be additional charges for school supplies, activities, field trips, etc.  NHA strives to keep tuition affordable, making it easier for families and students to participate in and enjoy their experience at Nest Hockey Academy.*

Yes, we are accredited through Christian Schools of Florida and Middle States Accrediation body. We are also NCAA approved for course curriculum. For more information please click on our Academics tab

Nest Hockey Academy is a mission-outreach school, meaning students are not required to be Christian to attend, however students and parents must agree to support the mission and vision of Nest Hockey Academy. Course content is taught from a Biblical Worldview.  All students are required to attend weekly chapel services and complete Bible I, II, III, and IV as part of our graduation requirements.

Yes! In fact the graduation requirements for NHA exceed the state requirements.

Nest Hockey Academy student-athletes will complete course requirements for Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program eligibility. To be awarded, students must still meet GPA and ACT/SAT requirements.

Nest Hockey Academy implements a blended learning model, which means students are in classrooms completing hands-on & digital learning activities delivered in a virtual format. We have certified teachers as well as Instructional Aids who provide lessons in real-time as well as assist students in accessing our curriculum and instructional resources.

Currently, our hours are 7:45 am – 4:30 pm. Students are dropped off between 7:30-7:45 am and must be picked up no later than 4:45 pm.

Students are required to pack snacks and lunch daily.  All lunches must be packed with appropriate cool packs, as students do not have access to refrigerators throughout the day.  Students do have limited access to microwave ovens, under the direction of NHA faculty and staff.

Our teams 14AA and younger do compete in SFHL (league play). However, our 15O and older teams do not.

The application process includes an athletic screening which is scheduled upon submission of the application.

The NHA program is one package: hockey & academics and are not offered separately.

NHA student-athletes commit to playing for Nest Hockey Academy only. *Note: This policy applies to other SAHOF, AAA, and Tournament clubs.

Yes! Nest Hockey Academy currently has both male and female student-athletes. We desire to be a part of growing the game of hockey on the female side. Our hope is to provide male & female opportunities for growth and development.
